Aramgarh Estate was established in the heydays of the British Raj and has witnessed many a transformation. The story goes back six generations when our great-grandparents came to Kullu Manali as traders along the silk route and acquired a big chunk of land in Raison in 1928. Lured by the serene environs, our great-grandfather thought it to be ideal for a resort and hence set up the prestigious May Flower Hotel. The lay of the land even supported a mini-golf course. After the British left, the renowned Khullar family transformed the land into a thriving fruit orchard, primarily of apple. Now the estate boasts of many exotic fruits like cherries, nectarines, mariposa plums, frontier plums, kiwi, apricots, peaches, and persimmon alongside our famed apples and pomegranates.
