Getting one’s hands in the mud is not everyone’s idea of a vacation, but for city and suburb dwellers who are itching to give farm life a try ‘The Outhouse @ Aramgarh Orchards’ is a perfect escape. Guests here can choose to assist with farm chores if they want, observe the farm in action or just relax and unwind in the lap of nature. Located in the midst of a sprawling fruit orchard, where opportunities to learn and play are endless, the newly built outhouse offers a luxurious yet basic farm stay.
Located in the midst of a sprawling fruit orchard, the four bedroom cottage has spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, comfortable furniture, a fully functional kitchen along with a living cum dining room which opens out to a large verandah. The bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are named after flowers that grow on the property. Each room has its own unique decor and character.
‘Tulip’ is located on the ground floor and is the largest room in the cottage. Complete with wooden flooring and large floor-to-ceiling windows, this room offers gorgeous orchard view.
‘Iris’, on the ground floor is the second largest room and offers an unhindered orchard view. Large windows on two sides, a distinct shed ceiling and window seats set this room apart.
‘Daffodil’, a bright sunny room located on the first floor, has large windows, a vaulted ceiling, wooden flooring, distressed furniture and a day bed by the window, this room is right out of a story book.
‘Bluebell’ is located on the first floor, adjoining Daffodil and can be used as a children’s room. With vaulted ceiling, wooden flooring and large windows, this room offers a panoramic mountain view.
All rooms are equipped with oil heaters and 24 hrs hot & cold water. Pedestal fans are available in the summer, if required.
For those who want to stay connected, we have you covered with free wifi. We also have a cable TV in the common area.
The cottage is equipped with a washing machine for long stays. For shorter stays guest laundry is outsourced as per actuals.
Cook or house help can be provided on chargeable basis when booking the entire cottage.
We are happy to set up a bonfire/ BBQ* in the garden so you can relax and enjoy your snacks by the warmth of the fire. This will be charged additionally.
A fully equipped kitchen with microwave, cooktop, toaster, electric kettle, and cooking basics such as pots, pans, oil, salt & pepper is available when booking the entire cottage.
Parking for a maximum of four cars is available in our private car park. Should guests chose to avail this facility, car keys may be deposited at the house.
Driver and staff accommodation can be arranged on request and is on chargeable basis. Kindly notify us in advance.
We offer home cooked North Indian / Pahari food. The meals largely use locally sourced ingredients including home grown fruit and vegetables, fresh home-baked bread, jams and preserves.

Adventurous activities like river rafting and paragliding are some of the most enthralling things to do in Kullu. One of the most popular and exciting water sport in Kullu is River Rafting. River Beas is within walking distance and we can assist with bookings.
There are few things so pleasant as a picnic eaten in perfect comfort. We are happy to arrange one by the river, in the forest or in in the orchard.
Guests are welcome to borrow books during their stay. A variety of board games are also available to enjoy with your family.
We have cycles for all ages. Guests are encouraged to take them out and explore the neighbouring villages.
There is always the upside of enjoying the stunning views and birding opportunities as you walk around the local village and truly experience life in these parts.
